You have to come close to getting infected by the Coronavirus. But the number of cases occurring around the world is increasing.

Are children at greater risk of being infected?

According to Chinese studies, a very small proportion of children carry the disease, and in no case have children infected adults. Thus, there is no evidence that children drive the infection. On the contrary, it seems that the risk of children becoming infected is less than that of adults.

I’m afraid of getting infected, what should I do?

Why is the virus called different names?

The official designation is 2019-nCoV or SARS-COV-2. The disease that the virus causes is called covid-19.
