What is Ecological Sustainability?

Climate and environment blog

Creating awareness is often the first step to a change. Which is very much the case for ecological sustainability. How can we make the most of our fantastic land? Here we share more about ecological sustainability and what it means – to inspire increased awareness.

That the words ecologically and sustainably are here to stay is starting to become quite clear to the common person.

However, sometimes it may feel as if we as individuals are quite small in the great challenge of thinking ecologically sustainable, but as Michael Jackson would describe it; “I’m starting with the man in the mirror.”

It starts with awareness. To become aware of what ecological sustainability is and then act on that awareness.

Think generations ahead

Ecological sustainability means that we utilize nature’s resources by nurturing the earth’s ecosystem. In the long term, it means working to be able to produce food and provide clean water to all people living on our earth. The goal of sustainability is that we should be able to live on our planet and use the resources of nature so that future generations can also live on our planet.

Being a conscious consumer means that we choose what we consume with care, from the food we eat to how we live. As an entrepreneur in yoga, we have also thought about and chosen collaborative partners with care, partners who do their very best to exploit nature.
